Abstract

This article discusses the possibilities to extend Aleksandr Dulicenko’s term “micro-literary-language” to the Balkans and to create the basis for further comparative studies. Potential candidates are Banat-Bulgarian, Goranian, Bunjevac, Pomak, Bosnian, Montenegrin, Rusyn, Aegean-Macedonian, Čakavian, Kajkavian, Vlachian, Aromanian, Megleno-Romanian, Banjaši/Băieşi/Rudari, Torlakian, Timok-Vlachian, Istro-Romanian, Judezmo, Arvanitika, Arbanasi, Cham, Souliot, Kosovarian, Gagauz, Karamanli, Sarakatsanika, Karakachanian, Tsakonian, Csángó, Romani.
